Stephen Browne is a seasoned IT professional with over 16 years of experience in the MSP industry, specialising in Infrastructure and Network/Network Security roles. His extensive qualifications include Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft MCSE, Watchguard Network Security Essentials, and Certified Ethical Hacking.
In his new role as the lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Spence and Partners, Stephen is entrusted with the day-to-day operations of the IT systems supporting the business. His responsibilities include implementing and maintaining robust security measures, driving innovation through new projects, and enhancing efficiency, security, and resilience within the organisation.
Having worked with some of the UK and N. Ireland’s largest companies, including Outsource Solutions, Loughtec, Fujitsu, and Novosco, Stephen has a proven track record of delivering managed services across a wide range of technologies. He has progressed from roles as a junior service desk engineer to a senior escalation engineer and team leader, demonstrating his adaptability and leadership skills throughout his career.
Outside of work, Stephen is an avid amateur football player for a local team, approaching his training regimen with the same dedication as a professional athlete. He maintains an active lifestyle, frequently hitting the gym and participating in club training sessions 4 or 5 days a week. Additionally, he enjoys the occasional mountain biking excursion, relishing the thrill of hitting the trails whenever he gets the chance.
