Press Release

We are tremendously sad to announce the passing of our colleague Hugh Nolan on Sunday 30 April.

Hugh had a long battle with cancer and our thoughts are with his widow Helen and their three young children at this incredibly sad time.

Hugh made a huge contribution to our business and made a meaningful wider contribution on all sorts of pensions issues in a volunteer capacity with the Society of Pensions Professionals, where he was President from 2016 to 2018.

On a personal note, it has been a pleasure to work with Hugh. There are few people who could be so trusted to provide dispassionate, appropriate and well considered advice and I have valued Hugh’s counsel on so many occasions.

Hugh was our trusted friend and colleague. He was thoughtful, careful, generous with his time, experience, and support of others. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him within our business and the wider pensions community.
