Belfast and Glasgow-based actuaries Spence & Partners is moving into larger office premises in both Belfast and Glasgow to accommodate further growth.

In Belfast the firm has moved its head office further along the same street, from 128a Great Victoria Street to Chamber of Commerce House, 22 Great Victoria Street to help meet existing business requirements and its continuing development plans.

Spence & Partners currently employs 16 people in Belfast and a further 14 in Scotland . It recently positioned itself for a surge in demand for its services with a range of senior appointments.

David Davison, Director at Spence & Partners, said, “The expansion that has precipitated this move is attributable partly to our spotting a gap in the market and focusing our efforts on the owner/managed SME sector – the very sector that seeks both the value for money and the close working relationship with a single senior adviser that we are particularly well placed to provide.

“Pensions issues have been topping the political and economic agendas of late and this has led to a significant rise in demand for our services, particularly professional pension scheme trustee services.”

Spence & Partners now intends to build on the professional reputation and relationships it has already developed to consolidate its growth and expand its services throughout Ireland and the UK .

Meanwhile, the firm’s Glasgow office will move next month from 175 West George Street to 4 West Regent Street .
