Gino Rocco

Gino advises employers and trustees on all aspects of pension law focusing on defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes that range in size from the small to the very large. He also advises in relation to other workplace pension arrangements such as contractual or policy based arrangements, small self-administered schemes, self-invested personal pensions and life assurance only schemes.

His work covers a full range of issues including drafting and interpreting scheme documentation, advising on pension funding issues, compliance, benefit changes and regulatory matters. Gino also advises on pension implications of corporate transactions and re-organisations, including pension issues arising under TUPE transfers and the Fair Deal protections where employees are transferred from the public (in particular LGPS and NHSPS) to the private sector.

Gino has over 20 years’ experience gained at City firms, Mayer Brown and PwC  and at national firm DAC Beachcroft but also at a leading pension consultancy practice.

Gino is a solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales. He is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a fully accredited professional trustee (AMAPPT)
